You may have set up Hey Siri when you bought the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, but if not this is the time to do it. Go to Settings -> General -> Siri -> Allow "Hey Siri" to On. The iPad Pro will ask you to say a number of phrases to turn this feature on. If you also use Hey Siri on an iPhone this may activate it, so you might want to put it in a different room. Some users will only want to use Hey Siri on their iPhone or their iPad, since you can sometimes activate it on both devices instead of just on one.
