Apple added iCloud Drive to the iPhone, iPad and Mac last year, but there was no iCloud Drive app to use and open your files. Instead, users had to rely on third-party apps and clunky solutions to access files they knew were in iCloud Drive.

With iOS 9 there is an option in the iCloud settings to turn on iCloud Drive on the desktop. This offers up an easy to use explorer that allows users to find an open documents saved to iCloud without hunting through other apps.
