With Black Friday and the holidays on the way, the iPhone 6s is on the radar for many shoppers. And while there are some solid iPhone 6s alternatives, there are a lot of things to love about Apple’s new flagship.

In September, after months and months of rumor and speculation, Apple confirmed the iPhone 6s. The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus replace the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus as the most visible devices in Apple’s smartphone lineup.

The two devices have already sold millions of times over and for good reason. There are two of the best smartphones on the market and two devices that you should be looking into if you’re thinking about buying a new smartphone before the year is out.

I’ve been using the iPhone 6s as my daily driver since it arrived on my doorstep back in September. I bought the iPhone 6s to replace my iPhone 6. And while some of the features have taken some getting used to, I think I made the right decision.

As you try and come to a decision about whether to buy the iPhone 6s for yourself or someone else, remember these reasons. They include some of the big iPhone 6s features that Apple’s touting on television but they also include some smaller features that are easy to overlook.

Here are a few reasons why I think you’re really going to like the iPhone 6s.

Fast Touch ID

Fast Touch ID

I probably use Touch ID over 100 times every day. I'm glued to my phone for work and my personal life and I'm constantly opening it up to check email, message friends, look at sports scores, and more. I loved the feature on the iPhone 6 but I love it even more on the iPhone 6s.

The iPhone 6s comes with an improved Touch ID sensor that's faster and more reliable than the sensor found on the older models. The transition from lock screen to home screen is instantaneous. I can't remember the last time I used a passcode and I don't want to. There's no going back.
