They Shall Not Pass is the first Battlefield 1 DLC release for Xbox One, PS4 and Windows PC. It won't be the last.
EA and DICE have promised three more Battlefield 1 expansion packs and each will come with a unique set of maps and items.
The company's confirmed their names ahead of their release dates. The list includes In the Name of the Tsar, Turning Tides and Apocalypse.
In the Name of the Tsar will bring the Russian Army and four new maps to Battlefield 1. DICE notes that you'll fight in snow-covered ravines and a freezing archipelago. In the Name of the Tsar will follow They Shall Not Pass.
In Turning Tides, players will "participate in the amphibious warfare of WW1 and engage in the daredevil Zeebrugge raid, the Gallipoli Offensive, and more." We expect Turning Tides to be the third piece of Battlefield 1 DLC.
And finally, in Apocalypse, players "will go over the top in the most infamous battles of WW1" and "conquer bitterly contested ground with brutal tools and unique weapons." We expect Apocalypse to be the last Battlefield 1 DLC.
Release dates for these three upcoming DLC expansion packs are currently out of reach and probably will be for awhile.
There's also a chance we'll get a new night level in one of the upcoming DLCs. We might also see DICE release a night update to an older map once the company's done releasing the Battlefield 1 DLC expansions. Nothing is confirmed.
We don't have an ETA on the next Battlefield 1 patch but it looks like it could be out sooner than you might think.
