If you're looking past the iOS 9.2.1 update, know that its likely successor doesn't yet have an official release date.

Apple hasn't said what's next for the iPhone 4s but some assume that it will be the iOS 9.3 update. If that's true, it could be a few weeks before Apple replaces iOS 9.2.1.

The iOS 9.3 release date is rumored for the spring and it could arrive alongside the iPhone 5se (iPhone 6c) in March. Apple will reportedly host an iPhone 5se launch event on March 15th and there's a good chance we'll see something emerge in and around that date.

Apple's March event date hasn't been locked down but it looks like iOS 9.3 and the new iPhone could be the stars of the show. Apple is not expected to announce a new Apple Watch at the event.

Keep an eye out for new details as we move away from the iPhone 4s iOS 9.2.1 release.

Some users are actually experiencing the placebo effect. Not performance improvements. I have noticed nothing at all. I bet not one ounce of time ever went into any performance fixes.
