Last but not least, is something called Project Fi. Google wants to push the envelope in wireless technology, and eventually maybe compete with Verizon, AT&T, and others. This brings us Project Fi which was announced earlier this year.

Project Fi only works on the Nexus 6, and it's essentially Google's own wireless carrier. It uses 4G LTE from T-Mobile, Sprint, and WiFi hotspots all over the city to get users the best and fastest connection anytime, anywhere. You can make calls, send texts, do video chats, browse the web and more all seamlessly. It switches between networks or WiFi automatically, and is reportedly pretty impressive. Google's taking applications now, and giving out invites to Project Fi all summer long, and if you want to try it, the Nexus 6 is the only supported device for now.

All said and done the Nexus 6 is still a great phone for a lot more than just these 11 reasons. It has tons to offer and is an all-around excellent smartphone that all owners will love.
