iOS 9 now shows you the most frequently used music or audiobook app when you plug in headphones or connect to a Lightning cable in the car.

This saves loads of time since you cannot set a default app or song to play when you connect an iPhone to a car.

With headphones I almost always listen to audiobooks, and now on iOS 9 a small Audible icon shows up on my lock screen whenever I plug headphones in. I've also seen Spotify, another application that's part of my core set of applications.
