The PS4 supports Share Play to let you share the experience of playing in the same room with a friend, even if he or she is across the country. You can allow a visitor to view your screen for up to 60 minutes in a gaming session.

If you need help beating a tough spot you can hand off control to the visitor so that they can play and beat that section. You can also play a local multiplayer version of the game, while they are in another location.

The host needs PS Plus to make this work, but can share their controller with someone who doesn't have PS Plus. To share a second virtual controller with a friend that person must also have a PS Plus membership.
