With PS Now you can play over 100 PS3 games and earlier PS2 and PS1 games on your PS4. These games stream to your console as part of a subscription that delivers access to many games or specific one game rentals.

A one month PS Now subscription is $19.99 and three months is $44.99. Individual game rentals are available for four hours, 30 days and 90 days with prices varying based on the game and trial period.

Microsoft offers EA Access, which lets you play some older games locally on your Xbox One and there is upcoming backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 games coming to the Xbox One, but PS Now is still an attractive, if poorly explained by Sony, reason to love the PS4.
