OQO announces Verizon integration with Model 02 Ultra Mobile PC / Tablet PC
Great news out of OQO land today – In addition to offering integration with Sprint Broadband, OQO annoucned today that the Model 02 Ultra-Mobile PC / Tablet PC will also support integrated WWAN with Verizon.
It is great to see OQO giving these additional WWAN options to customers, which is a very smart move on their part. Most OEMs who offer integrated WWAN only support one wireless carrier. OQO goes a step further with adding two ( Sprint and Verizon ), which is great for their customers and for OQO as it broadens their potential market.
Here is their press release:
OQO Inc., mobile computing innovator and creator of the groundbreaking model 02 computer, today announced that OQO is now offering the model 02 computer with integrated EV-DO Wireless WAN capability compatible with the Verizon Wireless BroadbandAccess service.
