Notebooks roasting on my open lap,

Batteries just about to blow.

Hard drives spinning, With no rhyme nor no reason,

System hangs are causing me some woe.

 

Everybody knows, upgrading is not the way to go,

Better to just buy brand new, alright.

Mobile devices with their lights all aglow,

Will find it hard to sleep tonight.

 

We know Vista SP1 is soon to come,

It’s loaded not much fun, but fixes along the way.

And every Apple fan is sure to growl,

If Jobs can’t patch Leopard’s holes by MacWorld.

 

And so I’m offering this simple phrase,

To geeks from one to ninety two.
