Elephantware: Bloated Programs That Slow Down Your PC

Well we already know we have CRAPWARE to frustrate us and our computer usage, and for me that is a pretty broad category that includes anything that I don’t want on my computer. DownloadSquad is now coining a new term for what I’ve always called Bloatware, (a subset of CRAPWARE in my book.) They are calling programs that are filled with bloat and slow things down, Elephantware. I’m sure some elephant lovers out there somewhere are going to object to this and create a stir, but it makes sense. Check out DownloadSquad’s Top 5 Elephantware programs.
