OQO’s CEO Resigns, Starting New Company

Published

on

dennismooreoqoDennis Moore has just announced his resignation as OQO‘s CEO. Mr. Moore was with OQO about one year.

I really enjoyed the past year or so at OQO. The technology is incredible, the intelligence is staggering, and the creativity is really exciting. This is a company that deserves a great future, and will accomplish great things. However, my time there is at an end, and OQO remains in good hands.

Although I really enjoyed the job, the people, and the business, an opportunity has come along to start my own company from scratch, and it is an opportunity I cannot pass up. I regret that I will not be in the company as it brings truly groundbreaking new products out the door in the future, but I will always consider myself part of the team. While I am no longer an OQO employee, I am now and plan to remain an OQO customer, OQO product user, and an OQO fan. I wish the OQO team, and the entire OQO community, all the best.

After noticing an obscure posting on Mr. Moore’s twitter page this past weekend and sensing something was up, I contacted OQO‘s Bob Rosin for more information and he passed along this comment:

Dennis Moore is no longer employed by the company, and Andy Popell, our chairman and co-founder, will be taking on the CEO role.
