    Multi-Touch?

    it is not true multi-touch. Lenovo uses the marketing term multi-touch to refer to touch and active digitizer pen (multi) support. They made big improvements in their touch support over the x61, though.

    I cant wait to hear more… If only they could fix the shipping delays. I’ve been waiting for mine for a few weeks now.

    I just got an update on the shipping delays. Apperently their is a short supply of the AT&T WWAN cards used and lenovo can’t ship the cards separately.

    :( I guess I’m stuck waiting.

    As Im just about to buy an X200T, I’d really love to see some comments regarding comparisons between the Superbirght LCD and hte multi-touch, especially when used outdoors. I wouldnt mind giving up the multitouch for a brighter screen if its “worth” that tradeoff(costs aside).

    there is definitely a touch inkshow in the works. However, lenovo’s x200 is not true “multi-touch”. they call it multi-touch, but it sensing technology to sense between active pen and touch. Also, I don’t have the superbright LED.

    hi rob, please tell me the real weight of the multi-touch version, if possible. i want to know if the passive touch panel adds additional weight to this machine, thanks!

    is there any difference in the LED-backlit screens for X200t except the “multi-touch” feature?

    What is the difference between the x200 tablet and the x200 tablet with touch?

    @medic – two big differences I’m seeing

    1) the bezel is not flat like it is in the X200 Tablet
    2) The X200 Tablet only supports active pen. The X200 Tablet with Touch supports active pen and touch.

    Yes I will also be waiting for the Windows 7 ink Show. :) Rob if Windows 7 works well, would you leave it and use it while at the CES show? or will just restore and put back Vista?

    Just ordered the X200T with touch after returning a HP TX2Z after a few days. Hope it will be a better experience.

    Donald… Do you like the HP TX2Z or the x200 better? I am not that impresses with the display on my x200 touch and may purchase the HP and sell my x200 touch. I cannot edit my photos very well on the x200 because the screen appears too washed out and it is hard to see details.

    anyway, please provide input. it would be nice to see .
