In a market saturated with me-too products, OEMs are striving to set their products apart from the crowd. In this video, Warner checks out MSI’s latest attempt at differentiating themselves with a lighted touchpad. It’s an interesting concept, but is it really enough to get the MSI Wind noticed in the crowded netbook market? Decide for yourself after the jump.

The lighted touchpad seems nice enough, but that seems like pretty thin gruel as a “distinguishing” feature! Is that really the whole story on this netbook?

Well, the U120 also has WiMax and a new color scheme. Other than that, it’s still the same story with a 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, and a generous 160GB hard drive.

I think WiMax is an option, we are getting it with an hdsupa module in europe.
Take a look at the LG X110… it’s the same enclosure, to be honest, except of the MSI X320 i am kinda disappointed by their netbook lineup this year
