CES 2009: Heading Home

Published

on

ces2009day1-004_mediumWe’re all exhausted and we’re all headed home way too early in the morning here. I imagine the pages here at GBM will be a bit quieter in the next day or two as we gradually recoup for CES.

We had a good trip and enjoyed bringing you the coverage we did. We certainly hope you enjoyed it. We’ll be posting up our thoughts in the next several days after we’ve digested it all, and we’ve got a few more videos to post up as well.

But for now enjoy this quick video of Rob and I wandering the floor at CES.

Yeah I second that, great job covering CES 2009 posting the news. Also the Tablet Meetup was great and turn out great. I even won something at the meetup…

You guys are probably exhausted! You guys have done an awesome job as per usual! It’ll take me a while to sift through all the articles you guys have done at CES.

Thanx for all the great posts – you both really seemed to be in your element – all these posts and videos, I feel like I know you a bit more…

About going and going, energizer was to announce a new type of battery (zinc-air or silver-zinc?) did you get any info on that? is it breakthrough technology?

A comment was made about the empty space which leads me to believe that the economy is worse off than last year. Or maybe the industry is in an innovation slump? Or maybe expectations are too high to top or trump last year’s models? Nevertheless, thanks for the excellent coverage.

@xmangerm – No, many companies leave after the first day of CES. That’s why you see empty spaces, after the big announcements are done they pack up and go.

Thanks for the coverage, especially on the vaio p.
