Samsung Q1EX-71G Now Available to Order, $749

Samsung Q1EX-71GSamsung has gotten official on us, unwrapping the details behind their new UMPC – the Q1EX-71G that we first spotted at CES 2009. The Q1EX-71G goes for $749 at Samsung.com, but it can be had at CDW.com for as low as $729.99.

    1. It is interesting that it comes with XP, not Vista. It seems to qualify for the type of computers that can’t be called netbooks.

    2. No GPS = fail for me.

    3. I will miss the keys, buttons, and navigation dials/knobs on the front that I currently have on my Q1 Ultra. I wonder why Samsung is going backwards to a plain slate. It doesn’t make any sense to me.
