Gadget Stimulus Plan Day 1: Win A Jabra BT530 Headset w/Noise Blackout

Tjabra_bt530oday we’re giving away a Jabra BT530 Bluetooth headset that features Noise Blackout noise cancellation. The BT530 makes it possible for the person on the other end of the line to hear you, even if you’re in a noisy environment.

It gets up to 5.5 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time. The BT530 retails for about $80.

There are three ways to enter, and yes you may enter up to three times.

1) Leave a comment on this article and tell us which kind of mobile phone, tablet or netbook you’d use the BT530 with.

2) Comment on this Notebooks.com article and tell us what kind of notebook you’d use the BT530 with.

3) Use your Twitter account to share this contest with your friends. Just send the following Tweet:

You have until Wednesday, March 18 at 8pm PDT to enter. We’ll assign every entry a number and use Random.org to randomly draw a number.

Those who enter more times than allowed will be disqualified. The winner will be notified by either email (if random comment is chosen) or by an @reply on Twitter (if random tweet is chosen.     Hey! If I win I will be using this Jabra BT530 Headset with my LG Dare or with my PS3! I’ve been needing to pick up another Bluetooth Headset, but I haven’t gotten around to it and now maybe I won’t!

    If I win I’d use this with a Palm 700P until I can get my hands on a PalmPre. Free is about the only price I’d pay for a BT headset…

    I have an AT&T Tilt that I would use it with, but it has been quirky lately, so I am hoping there is an HTC phone as one of the give-aways. :)

    SWEET, I need this. just got a ticket here in CA for not having a darn headset.

    I’d use it with my mogul, but also with my X61 tablet while travelling using skype.

    I have an old Sony Ericsson T637, and I’m looking to replace it at a VERY economical price. I’d like a wireless headset for it, since I don’t have one of those either.

    Ok, if I win (please! ;-) I’d use the headset with my blackberry curve. Especially since I just spent $35 on a headset last week that apparently no longer works, and I didn’t think to get some kind of warranty on it (and they won’t take it back).

    I would use it with my Blackberry Storm. My Motorola BT headset broke just last week and this is at a perfect moment. I have tried the Jawbone 2 but doesn’t really work that well. People tell me that they can still hear the background noise. I even turn on the noise reduction with no results. Taking it back and wait to see if I win.

    I lost my Bluetooth headset at the Miami airport two weeks ago, so this headset can save my life.

    If it works with phones and laptops then I would definitely use it with my Nokia 6300, TC1100 tablet and HP mini 1000 netbook.

    This would be great, I was using a Jabra BT8040 for the past year but lost it while Christmas shopping. I bought a Motorola that was on sale but no one could hear me over the background noise, you get what you pay for. The devices I would currently use it with would be my R2Hv umpc and my HTC Wizard phone which I hope to upgrade soon.

    I will be using this with my HTC TyTn II and my HP Pavilion dv4 laptop when I use the net to speak to my parents and family! Man this would be sweet! Atleast I can sit comfortably while having an online conversation with them!

    If I were fortunate enought to win, I would be using this Jabra BT530 Headset with my new Blackberry 8830 World edition smartphone. I’ve never used bluetooth before and enjoyed reading your review as well.Glad to know that it has an extended talk & standby time, as well as the noise cancellation.Those features are ideal for me as a busy Mom of 5 that’s on the go!Thanks for the entry!

    I’m on a mission to find the best headset. So far, I’ve stuck with the Plantronics Voyager 520. But I’d love to try this one out.

    I would use this bluetooth headset on my tx2000 for my online speech class. I’ve got 3 more semesters of speech related classes. Since I do them online I have to film my speech being presented to my friends and I also have to wear a headset. I’ve been using my old gaming headset, which means I’m restricted by the cord. Also I look pretty silly on video with a headset trying to talk to an audience.
