Posted by | 03/21/2009 | 33 Comments

isonicastWe’re trying to close your gadget deficit while the economy’s in the dumps with the Gadget Stimulus Plan. Today we’re giving away a Monster iSoniCast for iPod, which streams music from your iPod to your home audio system wirelessly.

A small dongle plugs into the bottom of your iPod and a base station plugs into your receiver via RCA cables.

I haven’t had the chance to try the iSoniCast yet, but it seems like a nifty little device. It retails for $99.99.

I have an 80GB ipod classic. Together with the iSoniCast, I would exorcise my air space with Mingus. Out demons! Out!

This looks like an interesting little device. I have a home theater setup in the basement, and I have a lot of friends that have iPods of some sort, and they frequently plug into the receiver to put some tunes out of the speakers, but then they are usually sitting far away from the receiver and have to get up when they want to change the song. With this little device, we could pass it around and whoever wanted to play music could simply plug it into their pod and DJ from where they are sitting.

Cool giveaway. Currently I work in a home office and I find that I work best with music on. Though everyone else in my family has an Ipod, I’m the holdout. Which one would I get for this puppy? Tough decision… I’ll let the experts in my family help me figure that out.
