New Cooliris Plug-In Adds More Functionality

Published

on

cooliriis I’ve been using Cooliris ever since it was PicLens and it is a very handy browser add in for viewing pictures on the web and now your computer. The latest add version (1.10) fits into Firefox, IE, Safari and will run on a Windows machine or OSX. It will now let you browse videos from an array of sources and when you stumble on one you want to play in the Cooliris 3D environment without leaving Cooliriis.

The 3D browsing effect is very cool as you fly through a series of images and I’ve found this very helpful when looking for an image, or when I have the time to just go browsing for fun. The Discover feature makes browsing even more fun by allowing you to select a theme for what you’re looking for.

The really new part that I like in the new version is being able to browse my computer(s) with Cooliris. Give it a try, but be warned. You’ll find this handy but an excellent time waster.
