Report: OQO Cancels Pre-Orders for OQO Model 02+

We’re still looking for something definitive on the status of OQO after last week’s reports that the company was running into difficulties. If this report from Steve “Chippy” Paine is indeed true (and I don’t doubt that it is) it looks like things are getting even rougher for OQO. Apparently they are cancelling all pre-orders for the new OQO Model O2+

    1. BuildYourUMPC sent me email saying “We have been informed that the 2+ will not be released and all pre-orders currently on file will be cancelled.”

    2. I received the same email. It looks like they are no longer carrying any OQO products. That stinks, because I was wanting to pick up an extra charger for my 02.

    3. Steven – check the BuildYourUMPC Closeout section for OQO accessories. They seem to still have some.

    4. That is unfortunate because I was thinking about purchasing one when they came out. The new model looked like a winner.
