Dell Adamo XPS Prototype Had Multi-Touch LCD Touchpad

181464-multitouchadamo_slide.jpgWhile I was shooting the GBM InkShow of the Dell Adamo XPS, Darren Blackstone of PCWorld was was in Texas checking out several prototypes of the world’s thinnest notebook.

He put together a slideshow that shows several prototypes and the innards of the final design. I’m sure glad that Dell decided not to go with the glossy plastic design, but it sure would’ve been cool if they were able if they’d managed to work the LCD touchpad into the final design.

According to Darren, Dell said it would have a hard time justifying the cost.
