Sanyo rolls out This looks intriguing, and if you’re in Japan on December 1 you might get to try this out. Sanyo’s eneloop stick booster looks like a small stick and with two rechargeable batteries, it will supposedly charge up your small mobile devices (think MP3 players and other handhelds.

Positioned as a move towards green technology (Sanyo’s eneloop program is all about green) the batteries can supposedly be recharged 1500 times before needing to be replaced. It certainly looks small and compact, and perhaps useful. Here’s hoping it makes it to the states.

Do a “AA Emergency Charger” search in eBay. Just make sure the plug works for your device. Use rechargeable AA batteries.
