Dell Studio 17 Multi-Touch Demo Video

N-trig just sent over a link to a video demo of the Dell Studio 17’s Multi-touch display. We still don’t see this display option live at Dell.com, but we expect to see it soon.

In the video demo there’s a father and son going through a few entertainment applications on the The Dell Studio 17 with their fingers.

There’s some visible shaking going on when the display is tapped. The Studio 17 is probably heavy enough so it’d be difficult to actually tip over, but the bouncing display is less than ideal.

    1. Actually, the option is live, but it’s not available through the standard Studio 17 product page. Can only be found under the Dell touch product page.

Pounded my head against that wall for some time before Direct2Dell pointed the way. Very unintuitive.

    2. Wow, way to market touch computing. Thanks for the update Sumocat :-)

    3. Since this is a Touchscreen, Why not make tablet like? Swivel/rotating screen with 17″ display. Ain’t that awesome? Anybody with me on this?

    4. Isn’t it N-Trig that has some unresolved issues with their touch screens?
