Fujitsu Unveils New T900 Tablet Using Intel Arrandale Chipset

1343252352Fujitsu may have scaled its CES2010 presence back quite a bit in comparison to years past, and many were looking to see just what they were going to be offering in the coming months. Turns out they aren’t really that quiet, but like many manufacturers what we’re seeing are updates of existing lines in many cases. It is curious that in the year of the slate, there is no news from Fujitsu on this front, given that they have been a big player in slate Tablet PCs.

That’s true with the new T900 Tablet PC which is pretty much an update of the T5101 convertible although it will be sporting Intel’s Arrandale chipset. For those who like a little more screen real estate it sports a 13.3 inch form factor, and optional dual screen digitizer (active/capacitive) and it weighs in at 4.5 lbs. It also comes with the Microsoft Touch Pack, and yes that means it supports Windows 7 touch and gesture goodness. The price point indicates that Fujitsu is off the mark in my opinion as this baby will start at $1899. It will be available next month.

fujitsu_uh900Fujitsu was also talking about the UH900 which is a multi-touch mini-notebook (two fingered touch) and will retail at $999. Here’s a link to some CES video of the UH900.

Here are some specs:

* 5.6″ WXGA multi-touch screen)
* 1.6ghz Atom Z530 processor
* Integrated 3.5G
* 62GB SSD
* 500g Weight
* 204 x 106.5 x 23.8mm Size
* Windows 7
* Bluetooth / Webcam / mic-in
* Available in Black, Red and Gold
