Punks Steal iPad, Rip Off Man’s Finger

A couple of jerks followed a guy out of an Apple store in Colorado and robbed him in the parking lot to nab an iPad. The string on the fancy plastic bag wrapped around his finger as one of the thieves pulled at the bag and the poor guy’s flesh was ripped off.  The kicker? The victim didn’t even know what an iPad was before going to the mall to fetch one for a colleague who was going to give it to someone else as a business gift.

I really hope these kids are caught and someone teaches them a lesson.

    That is insane…Poor guy. Apple should set him up with a machine of his choosing for the unfortunate event (and have it DELIVERED)…just out of good will.

    IN the mall. Wow. Every time I come out of the Apple store into the mall parking lot, I’m always on guard thinking the same thing… that there are some punk kids waiting for who comes out with a nice white bag with the “steal me” logo on it. I was in there on MONDAY for about an hour, and probably 30+ iPads flew out. Thats a lot of targets.

      Funny part is, it was in Cherry Creek Mall the ritziest mall in Denver. Secondly the Apple store lets out into the mall. It’s on the second floor. Very hard for these “robbers” to get very far. Fortunately there are 10 cameras pointing to this store alone. They have these guys picture posted everywhere by now. I wouldn’t doubt these guys will never show their face again in that mall. Colorado is a right to bare arm state. Let them please try to rob me like that. My .45 hollow point would have removed that thought of stealing clean from their shoulders. Yes their head would be gone too but I would guarantee no one would try that shit here again.

    My just decision in this case:

    When he is caught, recover the iPad + any damages to it + damages to the victim. Then wrap a piano wire around his pinky and yank until 2/3s of it is gone.

    That will allow the victim to have what is rightfully his and restitution for what was done to him. And the thief will remember the crime every day when he looks at HIS lost pinky.
