Good Advice: Engadget says to follow GBM on Twitter

Published

on

Engadget has posted a new entry in their “Who should I follow?” series, pointing readers to knowledgeable companies, people and blogs to follow on Twitter. This time they’re looking at the “Laptop / Mobile Computing” and it is loaded with self-important, overrated… oh wait, there’s us and Xavier!

Uh, to rephrase, Engadget has chosen to include GottaBeMobile (albeit with extra spacing in our name) and Xavier Lanier, top dog of GBM and Notebooks.com, in this prestigious list of learned companies, blog, and individuals who nobly share their knowledge with the masses via Twitter. I commend Engadget for recognizing the critically important work we do.

Yeah, so if you’re newly following us via Twitter and in case I didn’t make it obvious enough, we don’t take ourselves too seriously here (me more so than others… or should that be less so?). We’re just a bunch of folks who enjoy mobile computing, especially Tablet PCs, think hard about the issues, and don’t mind voicing our opinions on the subject and writing reviews on whatever we can get our hands on. However, we are serious about the technology and business decisions that shape the mobile computing environment and are as upfront and honest in discussing that as possible. Thanks to Engadget for taking us seriously.

Yes, in this sentence “I” is the subject while “Who” is the object, so it should be “Whom”, but it’s their list.
