ViewSonic ViewPad 7 Tablet Hands on Video

Warner Crocker —  09/01/2010

The ViewSonic ViewPad 7 is a tablet/slate that’s getting lots of attention at IFA this week. Johannes from NewGadgets.de got to go hands on with the device and has posted a video. From what we know the ViewPad 7 is running a 600 MHz Snapdragon processor, but the video doesn’t seem to show much lag, but then this is probably just a prototype. The ViewPad 7 is supposed to ship with Android 2.2 on the 7 inch device, and it follows the silly trend of including phone functionality in that size form factor. At least that trend is silly to me. Call me crazy, but I don’t think 7 inch devices work as a phone or phone replacement. But like I said, call me crazy.

In any regard here’s the video and there are more pictures at this link.
