Almost all you need to know about Windows Phone 7

This weekend, a ton of resources Windows Phone 7 resources have gone live. With press events in several places tomorrow, we should know everything else. I decided not to fly up to New York City, but I am still going to take a couple days of vacation. I will be watching from afar, but my heart will still be there. Stay tuned for a ton of Windows Phone 7 announcements. Read on for some great resources too!

Warning. The next couple weeks will bring a little Windows Phone 7 overload. If it annoys you, hang in there, it will even out soon. The iPad coverage did. :)If the videos all over the net aren’t enough to wet your whistle, Microsoft has a few great resources to wet your whistle:

There are a few other links on the site too, but the don’t seem to be live yet.

Oh, and October 21st, 2010. This is the date that UK carrier Three has on some leaked press material over at Engadget.  In addition to that date for UK launch, it shows that 2,000 Apps should be available at launch. We all know that the launch is today, but this is just Windows Phone 7’s announcement though, I am 98.66% sure that no devices are actually going to be available to the public until next month. I expect that this will be a pep rally mainly. Microsoft formally announcing Windows Phone 7 and the carriers involved. I believe the carriers involved will announce devices they will be launching as well.
