Lenovo LePad U1 Hybrid Video Demo

We got an early preview of the Lenovo LePad U1 Hybrid, which runs both Android and Windows 7 depending if the tablet is docked in its keyboard case or not. The device will be released in China initially, and Lenovo is still waiting for Google to announce and release Android Honeycomb before shipping the device in the U.S. In China, the LePad will ship with Android 2.2 Froyo, which will support an enhanced Lenovo user experience with HD video playback, a Lenovo user interface on top of Android, and other customizations.

We’ll have more content on the LePad and the U1 dock to come. Stay tuned to GottaBeMobile.com and Notebooks.com for additional coverage and content from Lenovo and CES 2011.
