Samsung SH100 Camera Pairs With Galaxy S Smartphone for Second Viewfinder

The Sasmung SH100 is Samsung’s flagship fully connected camera that will pair with your Android smartphone–mainly with the company’s Galaxy S series Android phone–to extend your live viewing capabilities. Essentially, rather than using the rear digital viewfinder on the device, you can now preview the image that you’re about to take on the Galaxy S’s 4-inch Super AMOLED display in real-time.

This functionality will be beneficial in group shots, which will save you time running back and forth between where you’ll stand with the group and where the camera will be placed on its tripod.

With WiFi connectivity, you can transfer shots wirelessly to your PC, preview content on your HDTV with DLNA technology, or upload directly to photo sharing sites and social networks.

The SH100 has a three-inch viewfinder. The camera will capture images up to 14.2-megapixel resolution and comes with a number of added features such as self portrait, face recognition, beauty shot, out-focus portrait, and Smart Auto and Smart Filter 2.0. The camera will be available in March for $200.
