Google Displays Search Results Based on When Businesses Are Open

Not only is it important to find what you’re looking for, but when you’re searching for business listings through your Google search results, it’s also important to find when places are open. According to Google, the company has refined its mobile search to filter results based on listings of businesses that are open now:

In the US, we launched an “open now” feature which lets you filter local search results to show only businesses that are open right now, based on their listed hours. When you’re hankering for pizza at 1 o’clock in the morning, this can be really handy

When filtering by businesses that presently open at the time of your search, you’ll notice an option after you search to “Show only businesses open now.”

You can also filter by star ratings to find out highly recommended places by your peers, and also to stay clear of highly un-recommended places alternatively.
