EVO View Tablet Trademark Filing Hints at WiMax Support for Sprint

Published

on

With Sprint already linked to the HTC EVO View Tablet via a rumored leak earlier in the week, an HTC trademark filing for a device of the same name with a 4G moniker at the end helps to solidify the tablet’s 4G roots. If in fact the HTC EVO View Tablet will be coming to Sprint, then the trademarked HTC EVO View 4G suggests that the HTC-made tablet will be compatible with Sprint’s WiMax network.

The HTC EVO View is rumored to be the HTC Flyer designed for Sprint’s network, which will sport a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with pen input support, Android 2.4 Gingerbread, and the custom HTC Sense user interface.

In the past, the HTC Flyer has also been connected with U.S. carrier T-Mobile USA as well.
