First Place in iPad 2 Line Goes for $900

Posted by | 03/11/2011 | 6 Comments

A New York student sold her place in line at an Apple store for $900 to a guy that just has to have an iPad 2 before he leaves for a business trip. Was it a deep-pocketed Wall Street type? Nope, it was an app developer.

Amanda Foote stood in line since 5pm Wednesday and got just over three hours of sleep since then. Apparently, sitting out in the rain on a sidewalk was worth the effort though…she’ll be using the funds to go see Lady Gaga in concert. Kids these days…they ‘ll pass up a magical device to see some lady dressed in funny costumes sing on stage.
