Nokia Astound Coming To T-Mobile On April 6th

Just a few days ago we heard that the Nokia Astound might be coming to T-Mobile at some point during the month of April. Sure enough, Nokia has confirmed that handset will be hitting the shores of the United States on April 6th.

The Astound is indeed going to be T-Mobile’s version of the C7. It’s going to rock a 3.5-inch AMOLED display, an 8 megapixel shooter that is able to capture 720p and will feature free turn by turn navigation.  And while Nokia failed to confirm any of the other specs, (the Astound website doesn’t seem to be live, either), you can expect it to come equipped with 256MB of RAM, a front facing VGA camera, accelerometer, compass, and Symbian ^3.

It will also feature Wi-Fi calling and if it has the same innards as the C7, it will have an ARM 11 680 MHz on board as well.

Nokia and T-Mobile are going to be offering it up for the very affordable price of $80, a price which comes after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new two-year contract.

I think the after sale service of T-Mobile is not very good, many people in US are not quite satisfied with the after sale service of T-Mobile.
