Apple Releases iOS 4.3.3 Update to Stop the Tracking Frenzy

Published

on

Ahead of the projected release date, Apple has pushed out iOS 4.3.3 which is primarily intended to get rid of that infamous hidden file that keeps track of your location data. According to the log the update reduces the size of the cache, doesn’t sync it to iTunes, and deletes it entirely when Location Services are turned off.

So, if you were into tracking yourself with pretty maps you might not want to do this update.
