The notebook comes with a 1 year warranty, but you can purchase an extended warranty for up to 4 years of coverage. Warranty extensions start at $29.50 and go up to $279. If you plan to use this notebook through the next four years of school, this may be a wise investment, especially doubling your warranty for just $30. If you want longer protection without an extra cost you may be able to double your warranty by purchasing with an American Express or MasterCard with a Warranty Extension program.
