Motorola Droid Bionic Photos Leak Out, Show Off New Design

A couple of days ago we saw the official Motorola Droid Bionic specifications leak out ahead of its anticipated September launch. Exciting stuff. Today though, we have another leak that kind of puts that one to shame.

New photos. Droid-Life has unearthed some new photos of the newly redesigned Droid Bionic that give us a great look at the backing on the device but unfortunately, not much else.

What you see is that there is a backing with the coat that is similar to that of the Droid 3. It’s one of the things I enjoy about the device.

You also can see that hump and it appears to be further down than the hump on the Droid X2. You can also get a feel for how big it’s going to be next to the Samsung Droid Charge which is the phone to the right of the Droid Bionic.

It looks to be slightly bigger but not too much. I have a feeling many of you are going to be split on the look – some will like it, some will hate it – but in my opinion, I  think Motorola has something really nice cooked up here.

that looks like a 4.5 screen to me, nice. I was really hoping for that feature. Not sure if I like the hump, guess I’ll have to get used to it. Wish it had a kickstand since its got a large screen. Can’t wait to get it in my hands. Come on Verizon give it up already!!!

Geez, who cares if it is .2 inches bigger overall.  You would hardly notice it next to a 4.3.  Think about how much .2 inches is in relationship to a 4+ inch screen.  1/100 of an inch each side diagonally is like the thickness of a penny.  Get over it, we will find out next month.  At this point i care more about how the implementation of gingerbread is.  Gingerbread is horrible on the X, worse than Froyo ever was.  If the software is shit than having great specs is wasted anyway.

Go back to school. Last I checked, .2 was would add 1/10 of an inch where as .02 would add 1/100 of an inch. Not that I’m petty or trying to split hairs or anything.
