HTC Sensation 4G Bootloader Unlock Tool Now Available

Just a short time ago, the HTC EVO 3D got its bootloader unlock tool courtesy of HTC. That left owners of T-Mobile’s HTC Sensation 4G downright jealous, I’m sure. Well, today, those that were seething with jealousy won’t be anymore as HTC has added more HTC Sensation models to the list of compatible devices which means that the unlocking tool is now available for one of T-Mobile’s best phones.

The wait has been long and arduous for Sensation 4G owners. HTC first announced that it would be unlocking the device’s bootloader using software back in June and earlier this month we saw the tool become available for the European version of the handset.

But now, if you feel like unlocking – well, semi-unlocking if you ask some people – your device, you can do so. Just keep in mind, it’s going to void your warranty if you do this so if you’re someone who likes dropping their phone into toilets, sinks, swimming pools, and the list goes on, you might want to think for awhile before you take the plunge.
