Last we heard from Sony Ericsson’s rumored upcoming superphone, codename Nozomi, was actually at the beginning of this month when it first leaked out with a couple of impressive specifications and a rumored March 2012 release date. And now today, we have even more details regarding Sony’s upcoming Android flagship.

Let’s recap though. The Nozomi is rumored to boast a speedy 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch 720p display which means 1280×720 resolution, a 1750mAh battery, 32GB of internal memory, and 1GB of RAM.

Sounds pretty good right? Well, the latest information, courtesy of a site called, pegs the Nozomi as also having a 12MP Exmor R camera and Android Ice Cream Sandwich along with the other specifications.

In addition, it appears that we’ll see it announced in January of next year with CES being a likely candidate for the launch to take place.

The Nozomi sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? Cross your fingers and hope that its form factor does these specifications justice.

I want HTC VIGOR or SonyEricsson NOZOMI.
Both will have large HD 1280×720 screens, powerful processors and good cameras.
Their final external design will matter for me to make a choice and additional features like premium sound, metal case or beautiful polished Android skin.

They MUST be powered by Android 4 ICS!
    Google, work harder and faster!
