Quite a few days have passed since CES 2011 but that hasn’t stopped Asus from finally releasing the hybrid tablet, the Asus Eee Pad Slider, in the United States, a tablet that it introduced all the way back at the gadget conference in January. The release has been marred with delays and frustration from consumers who have had to wait for months on end for the device to arrive but finally, retailers have started shipping it out.

If you head over to NewEgg, you can get one for yourself and it appears that Amazon is also offering it up to U.S. customers as well. For those in the Great White North, it’s also available on Amazon Canada.

The Eee Pad Slider starts at $479 for a 16GB model and a 32GB model is going to run you $100 more. They both have the same hardware and boast a 1.2GHz NVDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 10.1-inch WXGA screen, Android 3.1 Honeycomb, 5MP rear camera, 1.2MP front-facing camera, and 1GB of RAM.

It also features a physical keyboard that slides out from beneath the device itself.

You can find the Eee Pad Slider here at Amazon, here at Amazon Canada, or here at NewEgg.
