Motorola Droid Bionic Falls to $250 at Verizon
Well, would you look at that? There were some murmurs last night about Verizon dropping the price of the Motorola Droid Bionic down $50 in the wake of the Droid RAZR and Galaxy Nexus announcements and one look over at Verizon’s online store confirms the news. Big Red has lowered the on-contract price of the Droid Bionic to $250, still steep, but definitely a little lighter on the bank account.
The timing of this price drop is not coincidental. Today marks the first time that you can pre-order Verizon’s upcoming Droid RAZR which has quickly taken the crown from the Droid Bionic’s clutches as Motorola’s flagship 4G LTE phone.
So, if you’re looking to upgrade to the Droid Bionic, now might be the time to pull the trigger.
Of course, if you’re looking to get the Droid Bionic and you’re not on a contract, you’ll probably want to go through Amazon to do that. You’ll save a lot more than $50.

I’m one of those people. I’m very happy with the Bionic. It’s a great phone that does everything I need+ and does it super fast. As far as the Razr and the price drop …..I’m trying not to think about it :(

I bought but got it at $249 from Verizon on Day 1… they gave a little discount to business accounts but I’m still pissed about hotspot connection to 5 instead of the 8 that was originally promised.

I bought it for a penney at amazon. Muhahaha it was a one week speacial. The best phone so far.

The Bionic is an awesome phone… we knew that there would be the day that Verizon was going to be giving them away… the Razor has issues with sound quality, and does not do analog…and I hear that we will have Ice Cream Sandwich soon… I did not get the best deal on my Bionic… but that is no an excuse not to enjoy my phone.
