You can call Apple at 1-800-275-2273 to add the AppleCare+ plan to your iPhone by the end of the day. The offer si good for any model iPhone 4S and the iPhone 4 8GB on Verizon, Sprint and AT&T. You may need to provide proof of purchase, so pull up your preorder receipt.
If you still want to add protection, but you don’t want to purchase AppleCare+, you can check out our iPhone 4S Warranty and Insurance comparison. We compare some of the best iPhone 4S protection plans out there, to help you get the best deal.
If you are worried about dropping or breaking your iPhone 4S, you should definitely consider one of these plans. Many of them do not cover loss and theft, so if that is something you want protection for, pay close attention to the options. Your cell phone carrier may offer the best deal with loss and theft protection (not covered under AppleCare+).
