iPad Survives 1,300 Foot Drop (Video)
If you’re the kind of person that loves to take your iPad skydiving, G-Form might just have the case you’ve been looking for. You see, they took two iPads skydiving and proceeded to drop them from a solid 1300 feet wrapped inside two of their cases, the Extreme Edge and the Extreme Portfolio. As you might imagine, the iPads not only survive the fall, but they do so without any serious damage.
This actually isn’t the first time that G-Form has attempted a stunt like this one. Back in April, they dropped an iPad, again wrapped in one of their cases, from an airplane about 500 feet off the ground.
Naturally, it lived to tell its tale.
And if skydiving with iPads and tossing them out of plans wasn’t enough, they have also dropped bowling balls on top of iPads from a distance of three feet.
So, if you need a heavy duty iPad case solution, these might be worth checking out.
We suggest not repeating what you saw in the video though.

Unfortunately, they did not take the time to be sure their camera could see the iPads working. They showed them working before the drop, but not after. They wasted their entire experiment. It looked like a slight of hands card trick. It was a great idea, but they did their case (no pun intended) no benefit by posting this incomplete video.
