Motorola Dinara Announced for China with 720p HD Display; Headed to AT&T?

Motorola has finally taken the wraps off of the Motorola XT928, an Android smartphone that was formerly known by its code name of Dinara. The device has similar design cues to the Droid Bionic where the front is concerned, and even the Droid 3, with sharp lines and rounded corners. Specs-wise, with a dual-core 1.2 GHz CPU and 1 GB of RAM, the XT928 is a bit more advanced than the Droid Bionic and its innards are more on par with the recently released Droid RAZR.

The impressive parts about the phone are the camera and the high resolution display. The Dinara has a 4.5-inch 720p HD display that’s capable of rendering 1280 X 720 pixels. It also has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The device also comes with enhanced audio output with Dolby Digital Plus sound technology.

Smart Actions, which automates different profile settings, MotoCast, and Webtop are also on-board this smartphone.

The device has been rumored also for AT&T, and it will make for a very compelling smartphone. Depending on how good the camera sensor is–megapixels are only part of the story these days where cameras are concerned–this may be a good contender against the iPhone in the camera department.

The handset will launch in December on China Telecom.
