Samsung Galaxy Note LTE Announced

Published

on

Even though the original version of the Samsung Galaxy Note is still officially unavailable in the United States, Samsung has seen it fit to announce yet another variant of the 5.3-inch device as the company unveiled an LTE version of the Galaxy Note that will be heading to South Korea in the future. No word on whether or not it will be coming to Verizon or AT&T.

It’s certainly possible that AT&T and Verizon were waiting for this model to arrive before launching the device so hopefully we’ll see something official in the coming days.

Remember, it passed through the FCC with support for AT&T 3G bands in September.

The Galaxy Note of course is a tweener meaning that while it’s a phone, it has an absolutely massive screen, almost equivalent to the size of a tablet. It also has support for a stylus, is just 9.65mm thick and offers dual-cameras.

It’s a device that many in the U.S. want and LTE would only make it sweeter.

Cross your fingers, folks.

I’m still waiting for my new phone mainly because of the crappy pricing for upgrades on Big Red so far.   This phone would be ideal, and partially bridge the gap between Mini Tablet and Phone!

I’m in and ready to jump off the sprint wagon. Living in phoenix with an evo 4g when 4g signals are a block wide at best and if you sneeze you will definitely drop to 3g. This is the phone for me, seen some previews from the show in Germany-. Not to sound snoot’ but what gives with the USA not getting in on this in front of the wave?
