Android 4.0 with TouchWiz Shown Running on the Galaxy S II

With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus came the launch of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, lest we forget. And while the Galaxy Nexus is currently the only device with Google’s latest software, we know that many devices that are currently running Android 3.0 Honeycomb or Android 2.3 Gingerbread will be getting the upgrade. One such device is the Samsung Galaxy S II which today, appeared on video with an early ICS build.

The video is courtesy of the folks at SamMobile who were somehow able to get the software running on the original international version of the Galaxy S II, the I-9100.

Unfortunately, if you were expecting a vanilla experience from Samsung, you’re going to be sorely disappointed.

Yes, folks, TouchWiz is back.

Besides the glimpse at TouchWiz over Android 4.0, we also get a fairly in depth tour of ICS itself. From the web browser to the various menus, it’s all here for your viewing pleasure.

The only thing better than this here tour would be an official release date, something that we sadly don’t expect to hear about until 2012.
