Droid RAZR Maxx Surfaces Again, Headed for Verizon

We’re pretty sure that the next smartphone launch on Verizon is going to be the Motorola Droid 4, which still looks good December, but what about the phone after it? It appears that that phone will be the Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx, a phone that has shown up again today in Verizon’s system which not only confirms its existence but also points to a possible release in the near future.

The fact that it’s in Verizon’s system means that it will likely be heading out for testing soon, if it hasn’t already.

Still, even with this confirmation, the phone itself remains a mystery.

Droid RAZR Maxx

Is it a Droid RAZR with a bigger battery?

Is it a Droid RAZR with an HD display?

Will it have better audio?

The Maxx in the device’s name seems to point to a beefier device but at this point, those questions remain unanswered.

For now.
