Verizon Hosting Galaxy Nexus Contest on Twitter

Published

on

When the Samsung Galaxy Nexus first arrived, Google launched a contest that challenged consumers to answer questions and riddles in an effort to win a free Galaxy Nexus. Well, if you missed out last time you’re in luck because starting today, Verizon Wireless has launched another contest for the Galaxy Nexus that will take place over the course of the next four days.

The contest started this morning at 10AM EST and it’s taking place on, you guessed it, Twitter.

This time around though, it’s a much easier game. So if you weren’t into the whole brainteaser thing, you’ll probably want to check this out.

Galaxy Nexus

Here’s how it works.

Each day represents a different entry period which translates into four different tasks and four different chances to win. The first thing you’ll need to do, before you do anything else, is follow Verizon’s Twitter handle @VerizonWireless.

  • Day 1: Using the hashtag #GalaxyNexus4x4, you’ll want to tweet a funny photo of yourself using any third party photo service. Twitpic, YFrog or any of the others work. Simple as that.
  • Day 2: Using the hashtag #GalaxyNexus4x4, tweet two circles of people that you like to keep separate. For example, your comic book club and your friends. Feel free to use that one.
  • Day 3: Using the hashtag #GalaxyNexus4x4, tweet something that you would like to share faster with 4G LTE. Photos, video, etc. Easy.
  • Day 4: Using the hashtag #GalaxyNexus4x4, you’ll just have to tweet out the first name of someone special. Adam works.

There are a few rules to keep in mind.

You can only enter 10 times during an entry period. So, you can enter 10 times today, 10 times tomorrow, and so on. All entries will also have to be in English and they’ll have to be done via Twitter.

At the end, there will be four random drawings and those four lucky people will win a new, shiny, Galaxy Nexus from Verizon.

Be sure to check out our extensive review of Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Nexus while you wait.

Is there a 2 year data plan required to win the phone if you aren’t a Verizon customer?  The fix coming out on Feb 23 better resolve the rebooting problem on the GNex.  Otherwise, bring on the iPhone 5.

Sammy is trying to put a dummy experience of surfing in its new devices like the Nexus, but the ICS os not much worthy and efficient to actually have a smart surfing experience.
To have a smart experience like your PC, then its the new Nokia Lumia that makes you customize your home screen and surf smart with the inbuilt IE9 browser and you can also download you favorite browser and then surf with it.
Nokia Lumia is the smartphone today

Good god verizon fucking sucks. I would rather do hard puzzles than play their corporate marketing bullshit games.
