AT&T Galaxy Note Pre-Orders Start Sunday at Best Buy

AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy Note is one of the most intriguing devices of 2012 thus far as it sports both a massive 5.3-inch display and 4G LTE capabilities. Some refer to it as a phablet as its size and features make it sort of a tablet-phone hybrid. And we thought so highly of its uniqueness that we gave it our Best Versatile Mobile Device award for CES 2012.

It impressed us and it likely has impressed many of you, so much so, that you might be thinking about picking one up when it arrives on AT&T’s network a little later this month on February 18th.

Well, just in case you wanted to make that decision official, we wanted to let you know that the device will be going up for pre-order at a little retailer called Best Buy starting February 5th.

That’s this Sunday for those that aren’t around a calendar.

Best Buy isn’t going to be offering up your standard pre-order though. Instead, the retailer is going to be offering up a free flip cover for the device so long as you pre-order it before it arrives.

The Samsung Galaxy Note is going to appeal to those that want a tablet and phone experience in one. It features a 5.3″ HD Super AMOLED display. It features 4G LTE data speeds, speeds that can reach up to 10 times faster than normal 3G ones.

It’s powered by a 1.5GHz processor and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. No word on whether or not it will be getting the bump up to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Samsung wouldn’t tell us at CES.

As you can see in the video below, it’s much larger than your standard phone and much smaller than your usual tablet. And it’s that uniqueness that has made it extremely appealing to consumers.

Another feature it has is the Samsung S-Pen stylus which you can see in action in the second video below.

The S-Pen allows you to write notes, doodles, whatever, directly on the Galaxy Note. It’s extremely useful and those of you that do a lot of work – whether enterprise or school-related, will grow to love it.

AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy Note is going to retail for $299.99 when it arrives and you’ll want to wait for our full review to see if it’s going to be worth the cost.

But if you’ve already made up your mind, you’ll want to head to Best Buy this Sunday to place your order.
